I recently started a new job at McGill where I now coordinate the Personal and Cultural Enrichment Program. Wanna help me figure out what it's going to look like? Drop me a line!
My friend David just sent me this link to Le Fond du Barril, a CISM radio show that recently did a retrospective on my old record label Grenadine. Neat when old life projects come back around unexpectedly! It's the August 25th radio show and the retrospective starts during the 2nd hour.
Made me miss those years of putting out records by some amazing artists!
How can we envision a personal investment in sustainable social change?
With my roomates, we've decided to consider the question starting at home. We planted a small garden in our yard to better understand the cycle of life and we've built a compost box to deal with our ourganic waste.
If you're interested, there's an article on our house on this in the Montreal Gazette.
In the next month or so, I'll be contributing blog posts to the Organization Unbound site. Here's my first one!
What would it look like if my life was an organization?
This is the question I was left with last evening.
My friend Nancy took these wonderful photos of the website launch and vernissage that I had at Café Soufflé last friday. I thought I'd share them with you all. People were asked to answer the question: If your life was a bike, what would you like it to be like? Fun times!
On Friday May 7th from 5-8pm, I'll be launching a web site for my life coaching practice at Café Soufflé, 100 rue Marie-Anne O. This event will also serve as a vernissage for the illustrations that are on my website and which will be on display from May 7th - June 6th.
So I decided to put a website together on the different things that I'm up to right now. It's been a fun affair that's enabled me to reconnect with friends while learning about website creation. To start, I comissioned the illustrations from Aimée. It was a nice way to reconnect with her since the conference in France and needless to say, I was floored by her work. Jim stepped up and helped with the Drupal site shell.
